Sending a big shout out and hello to everyone who has subscribed to Vogue[ish] recently- it looks like most of you came over from Miranda, so a big welcome!
I’ve never seen so many stylish people until I spent two weeks in Italy. I knew Italians didn’t typically wear shorts (men or women). I knew they would be put together with scarves and belts and the details. I knew their bones were made out of tidbits from fashion week. But I didn’t quite grasp the extent of HOW FASHIONABLE they would be until I was there; toting around my black fanny pack, travel sized umbrella and REI rain coat.
Granted, it can be hard to dress as stylishly while traveling as you would when you are home. You’re limited in what you’ve brought and what you’ve brought usually consists of practical (and not always that cute) shoes.
And yet! The Italians (at least the older generations for sure) left me with a handful of style notes that I’m excited to share here with my paid subscribers in Style Guide No. 3.
ABOUT THE GUIDES
The Guides are like shoppable Pinterest boards. You’ll see an image of the item that you can click on and be sent directly to the site if you’d like to purchase it. I’ve also included my notes on how I’d wear the item, other colors I like, and my stylist tips on budget, shopping, buying, returning and fitting all of this into your Structure of Style.
I receive commission when you purchase from my Style Guides and appreciate the extra love very much.

PS -
The last 2 posts have been for paid subs, I realize! I have a series of emails coming to you soon, things like: turning 40, a one year fertility journey update, fun things I bought in October, and an Italy capsule wardrobe guide. On a personal front, things have a been a bit frantic the past month as I’m making some shifts that I’m excited to share very, very soon. Thanks for bearing with me as I am getting out what I can get out without feeling too overextended in this moment. I appreciate you being here!
